Graffiti Shield Inc of Anaheim, CA Awarded Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Stainless-Steel Contract
(Los Angeles, California, May 24, 2019) Graffiti Shield Inc, located in Anaheim, California has been awarded the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) stainless steel contract. The multi-year, multi-million-dollar contract began on February 1st, 2019 and consists of routine inspections, replacement, and monitor of all stainless-steel surfaces throughout the LA MTA system on a monthly basis.
With over 130 stations within MTA, including the new Purple Line extension, Crenshaw Line, and Gold Line extension, Graffiti Shield Inc. will monitor and protect over 198,000 square feet, with an expected growth in protected coverage over time.
Graffiti Shield has been fortunate to have been awarded this contract for the 2nd time, allowing for a refined system and advanced techniques to make monitoring and replacement swifter and more efficient.
“Being awarded the contract for the second time is a great honor to Graffiti Shield and myself. We have built our business and products to serve this opportunity,” says Jeff Green, CEO of Graffiti Shield. “Continuing to maintain the system and keep it looing great is what drives us to keep doing this type of work. The stations have come a long way since we started, and it is great to see ridership up and the overall safety maintained,” says Mike Schuch, President of Graffiti Shield.
Although there are alternative ways to achieve a similar outcome that Graffiti Shield is providing, there are major financial draw-backs. Removing graffiti by resurfacing the metal surface and then protecting with a clear film would increase the financial bottom-line by triple the amount. Graffiti Shield’s Metal Shield product line not only saves money but provides a cleaner and quicker outcome.
Graffiti Shield strives to better our product offering, enhancing adhesives, hard coats, and overall appearance. Having this awarded project added to their portfolio, growth of internal staff and expertise is eminent. Graffiti Shield, Inc. has developed a multitude of innovative films to help combat the rise in graffiti vandalism; including films that mimic the appearance of mirrors, stainless steel, brushed gold, glass, and even custom laminates. The addition of the laser will help them stay on top of a growing demand for multi-layer clear films as well as enhance the quality of the custom cut program they offer to their clients and independent dealers.
