Melbourne recently released new trams onto it’s streets. The state of the art E-Class trams hadn’t even made it through their first week before they got tagged. Graffiti was seen on the front of the trams, as well as inside and on seats. The vandalism was, “not a great look,” according to a spokesperson. Although the trams were cleaned and returned to the streets, they are now searching through CCTV video to find the vandals. The trams all have external and internal cameras which record constantly. Let’s hope cameras keep these new targets for graffiti at bay.
